QStory Receives Gold Medal for Sustainability from EcoVadis

EcoVadis is one of the world’s most comprehensive corporate sustainability rating tools – covering over 200 industries, 175 countries, and more than 100,000 companies worldwide. Previously, QStory had an EcoVadis sustainability rating of Silver. Now, we’re excited to announce that we’ve achieved a sustainability rating status of Gold – something only awarded to the top 5% of companies.

Drawing on international sustainability standards (including the Global Reporting initiative, United Nations Global Compact, and ISO 26000), the assessment focuses on 21 sustainability criteria across four different categories: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Here’s how we measured up.

Our performance

Since the concept of sustainability is ever-evolving, businesses are reassessed each year to evaluate the extent to which sustainability and ethical practices inform their overall business model. Our 2023 assessment places us in the top 96th percentile of companies rated by EcoVadis, and the top 1% of companies in our industry.

This year in particular, we’ve excelled in the Ethics area of the assessment, with a total score of 100% – truly a testament to our commitment to protecting all stakeholders and ensuring we always operate in a fair manner. We also scored highly in the Labour & Human Rights area and in Environment. Overall, we’re pleased to note that the improvements we are realising within our business through our commitments to continuous improvement are being recognised by Ecovadis.

Our ongoing commitment

As the global leader in Intraday Automation, we aim to set the standard not just for our industry but for sustainability too. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has long been an important part of our decision-making process, and we’ve always been committed to enriching the lives of people beyond the contact centre.

The EcoVadis rating creates transparency around our CSR efforts. It also provides us with invaluable insights into our CSR management. Following each assessment, we can use our score to determine what’s going well and what needs to be improved – allowing us to develop a more accurate corporate sustainability strategy.

QStory COO Wayne Thornhill comments: “EcoVadis is an excellent resource for assessing our CSR impact and benchmarking our progress. It also allows us to build stronger relationships with our clients, who increasingly favour partnerships with more sustainable organisations.

“At QStory, our vision has always been shaped around efficiency and sustainability. We’re thrilled with our improved rating for our most recent participation in the EcoVadis assessment. Achieving Gold status is a true testament to our values of continuous improvement, as well as a huge motivation to boost our CSR efforts going forward.”
