What is the Good Business Charter?
Launched in 2020, the GBC provides a nationally recognised framework that defines what a truly good business looks like. It serves as a signpost for stakeholders, ensuring that accredited organisations meet 10 essential commitments that foster a fairer, more sustainable society.
These standards cover everything from supporting employee voices, to ethical sourcing, environmental responsibility and paying suppliers on time. These are the foundation for businesses to build loyalty, resilience and lasting success.
How does the GBC accreditation fit into QStory’s ongoing ESG strategy?
This accreditation is a vital piece of our broader ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) strategy. By aligning with the GBC, we are reinforcing our dedication to sustainable and responsible business practices at every single level of the organisation.
Alongside being accredited by the GBC, QStory has officially been carbon neutral for four years in partnership with Carbon Neutral Britain through auditing and offsetting our emissions. Alongside our EcoVadis Silver Medal, an achievement which places QStory in the top 15% of all companies rated globally for sustainability – QStory has partnered with EcoVadis since 2023 to ensure our sustainability efforts are measured against international standards.
