The company already offsets 100% of its emissions via the Woodland Trust fund. Other emissions occurred from the location based energy consumption from use of Google data hosting centres, staff working at home (these emissions were attributed &#8216;additional&#8217; energy consumption that would not have otherwise occurred at home).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Based on Intensity our emissions are 14.38 tCO\u2082e per \u00a31m turnover.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Science-Based Targets 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Net-zero by 2050<\/strong>.<br>Achieve net-zero GHG emissions across all operations by 2050.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>50% reduction in GHG emissions by 2030:<\/strong> <br>Reduce emissions intensity by 50% per \u00a31 million turnover by 2030, compared to the 2024 baseline.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Target Intensity (2030)<\/strong>: \u2264 7.19 tCO\u2082e per \u00a31 million turnover<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Estimated Emissions Cap (2030)<\/strong>: \u2264 72 tCO\u2082e<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Offsetting strategy:<\/strong><br>Offset residual emissions annually using high-quality, verified carbon credits as a transitional measure until long-term reductions are fully achieved. Target to off set all unavoidable emissions of 2.578 tCO\u2082e per \u00a31m t\/o by 2050.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Intensity Based Target Incorporation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our overall emissions intensity target aims to reduce emissions to \u22647.19 tCO\u2082e per \u00a31M turnover by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actual results will be reviewed annually using either the Carbon Neutral Britain audit to verify our emissions &#8211; or the EcoVadis Carbon Calculator.
