While we are not legally required to publish a statement under the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, we choose to do so voluntarily as part of our commitment to ethical business practices and human rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Business<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>QStory is a young and fast growing but relatively small software development company, based in the United Kingdom, with operations and\/or employees based in South Africa and Ireland. Our team works primarily in remote environments, with limited physical supply chain exposure. Our customers and suppliers are based primarily in the UK but also USA and Europe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Supply Chains<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our supply chain consists mainly of professional service providers, software vendors, cloud infrastructure providers, and equipment suppliers. While our risk is low due to the nature of our industry, we remain vigilant and expect all partners to meet high ethical and legal standards. We require adherence to our Supplier Code of Conduct, which includes provisions on human rights, labour standards, and ethical behaviour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Commitment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We are committed to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Acting with integrity and transparency in all business dealings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Taking a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conducting reasonable due diligence on suppliers and partners to ensure ethical standards are upheld.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enforcing our Whistleblowing Policy, which allows employees and contractors to raise concerns confidentially.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Due Diligence and Risk Management<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We assess our business and supply chain risks periodically. While the likelihood of modern slavery within our operations is low, we remain alert to indirect risks through third-party services and sourcing. Any concerns raised are promptly investigated and acted upon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Training and Awareness<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We ensure that relevant staff understand the risks associated with modern slavery and know how to identify and report any concerns. As our team grows, we will continue to strengthen training efforts in this area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibility and Governance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall responsibility for this statement and our approach to modern slavery lies with the CEO, who oversees implementation and annual review. As our business evolves, we will continue to develop our internal policies and practices to ensure ongoing alignment with ethical standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Looking Ahead<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We will review this statement annually and consider further measures where appropriate.
